Integrity & Respect
SpaceSwap is a place where people come together, get to know and interact with each other. At our core, we believe that by sharing adventures, stories and memories we grow. Treat each other and the platform politely and with respect!
Anti-Discrimination Policy
SpaceSwap is a place where people of all backgrounds come together. We are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion and we reserve the right to act against all who are not compliant with our values.
Information & Listings
Only provide information about yourself and your listings that are current and accurate at all times. Trust and honesty are the fundament of SpaceSwap ensuring that everybody can join this community with nothing but excitement.
Treatment of Homes
Swapping your home with someone you have not really met before takes faith. Please treat each others homes as they are your own. Make sure to leave every home as you have found it when you first entered. Clean those dishes, greet these neighbours, water those plans.
Legal Compliance
Adhere to all applicable laws, including those related to privacy, and data protection. It is in your responsibility to ensure lawfully behaviour at any times. Any wrongdoing will not be tolerated.

By using SpaceSwap’s Site or Platform, you agree to adhere to the following rules and must not assist or encourage others to violate or circumvent them:

Honesty and Authenticity: Do not provide false information, misrepresent yourself or others, or impersonate anyone else.
Respectful Communication: Interact with others politely and respectfully.

Accessibility and Safety: As a company, SpaceSwap strives to make travel accessible to everyone. We do not tolerate unlawful discrimination or hate speech between Users.
Welcoming Guests from All Backgrounds: By joining SpaceSwap, Users agree to welcome guests from all backgrounds, regardless of ethnicity, color, religion, national origin, language, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, or disability.
Responsibility of All: It is the responsibility of all Users to ensure that everyone feels welcome and valued within the SpaceSwap community. Users are expected to be welcoming, accommodating, and inclusive to everyone on the SpaceSwap Platform.
Enforcement: SpaceSwap reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account of any User engaged in conduct that is discriminatory, illegal, or non-compliant with our core values.
Platform Integrity
No Unauthorized Access: Do not use bots, crawlers, or other automated means to access or collect data from the SpaceSwap Site or Platform.
Security Measures: Do not attempt to hack, remove, or bypass any security measures protecting the SpaceSwap Platform or its content.
Software and Hardware: Do not reverse engineer or attempt to decipher any software or hardware used to provide the SpaceSwap Platform.
Platform Stability: Avoid actions that could damage or disrupt the performance or functionality of the SpaceSwap Site or Platform.
Listings
Hosts are responsible for ensuring that their Listings are current and accurate at all times; this includes:
o User Content: Any content included in the Listing.
o Description, Location, and Availability: Accurate depiction of the Accommodation, its location, and availability dates.
o Deficiencies and Restrictions: Any deficiencies or restrictions, including rules applicable to Guests.
o Requested Information: Any other information requested by SpaceSwap.
o Each Accommodation may only appear on the Account of a single User, even if multiple individuals have rights to it. Listings may not contain hyperlinks.
Compliance: No specific terms and conditions in a User’s Listing may contradict SpaceSwap’s Terms.
Information Requirements: SpaceSwap reserves the right to require certain minimal information in every Listing, presented in a particular format.
Search Results: The position of Listings in SpaceSwap search results may vary based on factors such as Listing details and the specific search parameters of the Guest. SpaceSwap makes no guarantees regarding the particular position of a Listing in search results.
Hosts are responsible for informing Guests about the presence of security devices (e.g., alarms, video surveillance) in the Accommodation.
Booking Honesty: Only book Homes if you intend to use them.
Authorized Use
Data Usage: Only use another User’s personal information as necessary to facilitate the Home Swap.
Commercial Messaging: Do not send commercial messages.
Content Usage: Use SpaceSwap content solely for enabling your use of the SpaceSwap Platform as a Guest or Host, with permission from the content owner.
Third-Party Interaction: Do not require or encourage Guests to interact with third-party websites or services without authorization.
Algorithm Manipulation: Do not engage in practices intended to manipulate SpaceSwap’s search algorithm.
Legal Compliance
Legal Obligations: Adhere to all applicable laws, including those related to privacy, and data protection.
Personal Information: If you provide someone else’s personal information, ensure compliance with applicable laws and authorize us to process it under our Privacy Policy.
Terms Adherence: Read and follow our Terms, Policies, and Standards. Do not attempt to evade or circumvent our Terms, Policies, and Standards, such as by creating duplicate accounts or Listings.
Unauthorized Events: Do not organize or facilitate unauthorized parties or events during your Reservation.
Trademark Usage: Do not use SpaceSwap’s name, logo, or trademarks without permission.
Prohibited Activities: Do not engage in or facilitate prostitution or human trafficking.
These rules outline expectations for User conduct on SpaceSwap, promoting integrity, respect, platform integrity, authorized use, and legal compliance.
